These pictures of the 1939 Harry and Eleanor Holmes mansion in Medford, Oregon were taken prior to it being renovated into the Holmes Park House in 2017, a residential care facility for the Southern Oregon Friends of Hospice.
The co-founder of Harry and David hired southern California architect, Paul R. Williams, to design the Georgian-style home. Williams was the first licensed African American architect west of the Mississippi. He designed homes for the film stars in Beverly Hills and Palm Springs as well as numerous commercial and public buildings.
